GVBA BROOMBALL 2009-2010 SEASON

STARTING OCTOBER 2 2010!
Join us for another fun Broomball season!

                           The broomball season is coming upon us, and we are geared
up                               for another fun season of broomball.

                            We are always looking for new players, so feel free to drop in
                                  on our Saturday evenings at the Burnaby Winter Club.


Here are some particulars for you...

Where do we play?

We play at the Burnaby Winter Club (4990 Canada Way) located on the NW
corner of Kensington Avenue and Canada Way in Burnaby.

What time do we play?

We play at 7:15pm - 8:30pm every other Saturday evening.

How long is the season?

We play from October to March.

Do I need any equipment?

We can provide you with shoes and sticks and some protective gear, for those
who want to try out broomball before buying their own stuff.

How much does it cost to play?

It's only $10 per session.

Isn't there body checking in broomball?

In competitive mens' broomball there is contact, but we play co-ed broomball,
so there is no body checking allowed.

Will I have fun?

It's a given.

                        So come out and join us...
          we'd love to have you come play with us!
